I finally went to Scott’s on the second weekend in July. First time. It is fun, but man it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s huge. I expected big, but did not realize it was TWO different locations. I went to one building and after about 2 hours felt satisfied enough that I’d made my way through seeing most of what I wanted to see and I got in the car to drive home when I happened to see another building across the highway. So of course I had to head over to that one. This one had more vendors outdoors. Man, it is hot outside this time of year. And a storm rolled through too.
There’s a lot to see in there. I snapped a few pics of ideas I wanted to remember. Like these chairs, love the shape and cushions.
I also loved all the shiny bling. There are a lot of vendors selling silver at Scott’s.
And on another note, I loved the color I painted the wine rack in the dining room so much that I looked around the house for something else to paint the same color (Behr’s Teal Zeal). I found a dark hall table that has been rejuvenated. Yay. It’s such a pretty, happy color. This table resides on the second floor so it’s not as if I have all of this turquoise huddled together. I think that’s just enough. This project was quick and easy and ‘free’ because I already had the paint and I already had the table!
Sorry, the pics aren’t the greatest. I almost forgot to get ‘before’ pics at all and took this one right before I started painting.
So speaking of color……we recently got a new front door and guess what color I want to paint it? Did you guess Teal Zeal??? Yeah, is that crazy? What about red? Or even yellow? Stay tuned!
I’m so glad you went! It’s the best isn’t it??? You will get better at it and start finding the deals for sure
