I’ve been missing one lamp in the bedroom. I had one I thought I liked but ended up not liking it so much after living with it for a bit, so I returned it and went a few weeks without replacing it.
By the way, I’m really lovin’ the clear, glass base lamps period, but especially for this room. One night table is a very ornate, traditional piece with a green marble slab top. I don’t want a lamp that competes too much. It just needs a pretty, barely there lamp.
A few weeks ago I spotted this tear drop shaped, clear glass lamp in Target but then they disappeared from the store. Apparently, they’ve just recently returned so I just got one last week.
Paired with my other existing lamp, it turns out that I’m not so into it for this space. It’s also a little short in height for the look I’m going for. And then too, probably because I already have mismatched night tables, I now prefer for the lamps to match. Enter the Addison Glass Lamp from Ballards.
I love the seagrass shade and of course the clear, glass base is just what I wanted. These lamps were originally $119 and are on sale now online but they were discounted even more this week at the outlet store. Score.
Are you loving clear glass lamps too? So light and airy. Speaking of light and airy, pay no attention to the mocha wall color in the picture above. I plan to change the color in this room soon. Stay tuned.
