I like a nice plate wall. In my house, I have plates featured in two rooms: the guest bedroom and the dining room (I used DISC Hangers to hang mine). 
I saw these plates and loved the color they would add to a room as art on a wall. These are $3 melamine plates you can find at Target but Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and a handful of other stores have a selection of inexpensive plates to choose from. Be sure to check the clearance aisle.
Almost anything goes when it comes to plate walls. Take a look….

I LOVE plate walls… I had one in my college dorm room (strange, I know). I wish I would have taken a photo of it back then.
