We’ve had an embarrassing outlet problem for several years. The outlets in the dining room have been bisque and naked for 5 years. They were bisque when we moved in and I knew they should be white. When I painted the bottom half of the wall white, I took off the outlet plates and …… never did anything else! Shame on us. I even had the new outlets and plates in a bag, already in the house, ready to be installed. Years I tell ya!
Fortunately, for us, and the naked outlets, my uncle stopped by awhile back and changed them all out for us. It’s such a little thing, but boy does it make a difference. Such an unfinished look to leave outlets bare.
The room had 5 unsightly outlets just like the one you see there. Here’s how things look now.
See what I mean? You barely even notice it. And that’s how it’s supposed to be.
Yay for finally getting an outstanding to-do done, even if someone had to come by and do it for me. How about you? Crossed anything off your to-do list lately? Maybe you can get to it this weekend. Have a good one!

You have a beautiful dining room. It’s always the last minute touches that makes all the difference. 🙂
wow some of us sure know how to use little things to remind the rest of us that it does matter. yes I have been getting little things off my list too. Like wiping down the doors of each room I vacuum.
