My brother recently got married and my parents hosted the rehearsal dinner outdoors. My mom bought potted plants and flowers and we placed them around the patio in various containers. We had an extra pot that we didn’t have an appropriate plant for, so we just turned it on its side.
We used disposable plastic plates, but they were hardy and reusable. We placed them on top of inexpensive silver chargers and kept the centerpieces simple with carnations and faux (electric) candles.
The bride and groom to be had their own table with the bride’s colors: pink & white. The silverware is also plastic!
I’m so glad the weather was lovely! The evening was enjoyable and the food was delicious (way to go mom!).
It’s really easy to use sping blooms from the yard to make your own arrangements. Have you been dining outdoors?

Very nice wish we could have been there to help celebrate the couples happy occasion. And to think you have another to go to in a couple of days. Pictures are beautiful. Thank you,
Where did your mother get those paper plates? The look really fancy.
She got them from another friend, but I have seen (and bought) them before from Sam’s Club. They are actually plastic plates and disposable.
