Last week, I pulled a small mirror out of storage and found the colored resin had been scratched up a bit.
At first, I used my Krylon 18k Gold Leaf pen just to touch up the white scratches.
But then, I decided to go all the way with it and I retraced all of the raised markings with the paint pen. Check out how it came out:
I also added a touch of gold to painters tape for an out of the box use. I used the tape to keep wires in place on the new gold TV shelves in the master bedroom.
First, I spray painted a few strips of the tape with the same color I used on the shelves and then used them to hold wires in place along the edges.
Have you used paint pens before? Or found unorthodox uses for painting supplies? I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it try.

Two very, very clever tips! I love those pens!
I would never think to spray the tape. Now you have me on that one!
I love my 18k krylon paint pen! I also used gold rub n buff on painters tape and made a wall treatment out of it. It turned out beautifully! I like how your spray painted painters tape turned out! I’ll keep it in mind.
