I saw the cookie swap recipes on Savor Home and House of Earnest last month and got inspired to bake. So, I spent New Year’s Day baking cookies with three lovely girls, two teenagers and one toddler, who came over to join in the fun. We made three different types of cookies:
Red Velvet [recipe here]
Iced Almond [recipe here]
Chocolate Dipped Lemon Shortbread [recipe here]
We ended up with dozens of cookies. We boxed them all up (I found tins on sale at Joann’s) and delivered them to friends and the girls each took some home to their families. It was fun (yet tiring standing most of the day!) to make them and felt absolutely great to share them. Let me know if you end up making your own!
