This year I changed out the outdoor furniture on the deck. A few years ago, I repainted a pair of adirondack chairs for the deck.
Unfortunately, they did not weather the seasons well and ended up peeling.
I decided to part ways with them and go for chairs that require less maintenance. This time around I went with plastic instead of wood. These chairs are a little more modern, but I still love them!
They are the Skarpo chairs from Ikea. And since it is now summer time, I also made a few other changes. I replaced our old grill that had rotted with this new CharBroil grill. I found it on a local garage sale group for a great price! It happens to be brand new so check out your local market before buying from a big box store.
I also hung outdoor string lights in our screened porch. I purchased the outdoor lights from Target. I just love the vibe they create at night!
Those are my only changes outdoors for the season this year. I look forward to enjoying a few dinners al fresco!

Love the changes. Really fresh looking!
Wow this is inspirational, shows me that I could do a lot with my screened in space.
What a nice place to relax/ Love it
We are looking forward to seeing your folks in a cou[le of weeks.
Love Granndma
Great choices. We tried to paint a rattan sofa that was designed for outdoors one year. In no time it was peeling all over! Out it went.
Love the way the porch looks with the lights.
