I’ve had this velvet upholstered parsons chair for several years. It has become a floating chair because it floats from room to room when an extra chair is needed. It is stashed in corners when it’s not needed. Recently, I moved the ghost chair at the desk in the living room upstairs to A’s side of the bedroom. So, I moved the floating chair to the desk. It’s really a better fit anyway, since it can be pushed in under the desk and the ghost chair’s arms prevented that. I like seeing the nailhead trim in the room.
You can see that the legs add yet another wood tone to a room with more wood tones than I would like. Spray paint to the rescue again! I prepped the chair with two plastic trash bags.
Just a couple of sprays of Oil Rubbed Bronze and voila! It’s a perfect fit now! I should’ve done this years ago.
How about you? Do you have an out of place item that could use the magic of spray paint?
