Last week we made a little change in the guest bathroom. It’s a small space that manages to pack in all the essentials: bathtub, toilet, and sink but because it’s so small, the vanity is tiny!
But small definitely doesn’t have to mean short on style. Thanks to our friends at A Polished Finish, the same company who supplied the granite for our kitchen counters and the master bath vanity, this small space now has a touch of luxury: a carrara marble topped vanity.
I thought about putting marble counters in the kitchen but ultimately decided against it and went with a marble backsplash. I’m very happy to be able to have it elsewhere. It’s classic and beautiful and I love how it instantly elevates a space.
Have you used marble in your home? Kitchen? Or in the bathroom? Or even table tops?

You know how I love marble. Polished Finish is the best. Vanity is beautiful. Using marble in farmhouse kitchen. Europeans have used it for years and even worn is beautiful.
Hi, Thanks to you we are using A Polished Finish for our countertops in our master bathroom addition. They should be installing them this week. They have been so wonderful to work with!! Thank you for featuring them on your wonderful blog. Love your new guest bath vanity.
Oh Catie that’s so cool! Please share a pic (email or FB page) if you can! Would love to see.
What a huge, huge difference! We’re going to install marble in our master bathroom (someday…) and I can’t wait until we do. Right now we have a giant marble slab taking up our whole garage. 🙂 Love your new counters!!
Beautiful! We will be tackling a (hopefully DIY) project with marble soon as well! Quick question – is your beadboard wallpaper or the actual sheet? I would LOVE to add it to our own guest bathroom! Tips are welcome! 😉
Look forward to seeing it! The beadboard is not wallpaper, it’s the board you can buy at Home Depot. It actually still needs painting. We put it up years ago to cover wall damaged from wallpaper removal but it wasn’t a DIY project (though it probably would be now).
